THE AMNAYA IDEA

Enterprise with
a wider purpose.

Sustenance is empowerment.

Amnaya’s introduction sets out a clear ambition: create business models focused on sustenance, using blockchain and AI where they can help make value chains more transparent and accountable.

The aim is to extend business benefits to more participants, supported by research, governance and project development. This platform connects that founding philosophy with eight dedicated project landing pages and the source material behind the ideas.

THE FOUNDING PHILOSOPHY

Sustenance as
a business principle.

Amnaya’s introduction places commercial enterprise alongside transparency, accountability and the aim of extending benefits to more people.

01 / PURPOSE

Build for participation

Start with a need that matters to people. Consider how producers, communities, customers and other participants can share in the value a business creates.

02 / TECHNOLOGY

Use the right enablers

The introduction identifies blockchain and AI as tools for developing new business models. Their role is to support clearer information, traceability and better decisions where the project calls for them.

03 / RESPONSIBILITY

Make accountability visible

Connect an idea to defined responsibilities, governance and evidence. Transparency and accountability form part of the founding proposition, alongside commercial viability.

Adapted from Amnaya’s 2019 and 2020 introduction presentations. These describe the group’s philosophy and intended framework.

THE PROJECT DEVELOPMENT FRAMEWORK

How an idea is developed.

The abridged introduction describes four stages, from a sustainability theme to project delivery and longer-term development.

  1. 01

    Define the theme

Identify a project idea in relation to the UN Sustainable Development Goals and the need it aims to address.

  2. 02

    Research the proposition

Bring research and professional expertise together to examine the idea, its context and its development requirements.

  3. 03

    Plan the execution

Review the project, seek suitable partners and funding, and define a team and approach for the intended geography.

  4. 04

    Deliver and govern

Plan commissioning, stakeholder responsibilities, governance and subsequent funding or growth as the project develops.

THE CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE

Seven perspectives.
A broader view of enterprise.

The introduction sets out seven Global Centres as a framework for bringing different areas of expertise into project development.

01 Blockchain & Artificial Intelligence

Explore digital platforms, traceability and tools for better decisions. Technology choices should serve a defined business problem.

02 Governance & Ethics

Develop clear responsibilities, decision rules and ethical standards for work across territories.

03 Innovation & Intellectual Property

Consider research, innovation and the protection and use of intellectual property.

04 Trade & Investments in Energy Sources

Examine energy value chains, development opportunities and investment considerations.

05 Corporate Social Responsibility

Consider how enterprise growth can support inclusion and broader participation in its benefits.

06 Entrepreneurship & Investments

Develop venture models, consider funding needs and prepare businesses for responsible growth.

07 Corporate Diplomacy

Bring cross-border commercial, legal and institutional perspectives into project planning.

Historical institutional framework from the introduction presentation; current staffing and operational status are not asserted.

COLLABORATION ACROSS MARKETS

Local context.
International perspective.

The 2020 introduction organises its regional outlook across Asia Pacific, MENA, Eastern Europe and Russia, Western Europe, the US and Canada, Latin America, and Africa.

This is a framework for considering different markets and collaboration opportunities. Each project needs its own local research, suitable partners and relevant approvals.

A role for different kinds of expertise

The founding materials describe dynamic roles, governance-based alignment and people-centred participation. A project can bring researchers, technology specialists, industry practitioners and development partners together around a defined need.

The May 2025 Word file includes several inconsistent cases: ₹500–550 Cr and ₹1,000 Cr costs, 192 and 175.2 million kWh annual output, and differing return estimates. This explorer uses the explicit ₹520 Cr / 70:30 financing table, ₹2.90 tariff and ₹7.5 Cr operating cost. At exactly 22% utilisation, calculated generation is 192.72 million kWh, slightly above the source’s rounded 192 million. No audited group financial statements were identified in the reviewed set. No IRR or investment return is asserted here.

HOW IDEAS TAKE SHAPE

Insight. Culture. Capability.

Amnaya’s institutional framework connects three kinds of work: understanding the opportunity, establishing how it should be pursued, and building the capability to carry it out. Each has a distinct responsibility, with research and feedback moving between them.

01 / INSIGHT

Data Centres

Build the evidence behind a decision.

The Data and Analytics Centres are conceived as the research and knowledge foundation. Their role is to organise relevant information, examine it in the context of a business question and preserve what the project learns.

Research, analysis and expected outputs

What the work involves

  • Define the question, the information required and the gaps that need further investigation.
  • Bring research, project records and relevant data together with clear sources and responsibilities.
  • Use analysis to examine assumptions, compare options and identify uncertainty.
  • Maintain archives and feed implementation findings back into future research.

Expected outputs

Research briefs, documented assumptions, analytical findings and a reusable project knowledge base. The detail and methods depend on the project.

How it connects

Evidence helps the Centre of Excellence frame its recommendations and helps the Venture Laboratory assess feasibility and resource needs.

02 / CULTURE

Centre of Excellence

Establish the standards for responsible development.

The Centre of Excellence provides a shared framework for expertise, methods and governance. Its seven Global Centres bring technology, ethics, intellectual property, energy, enterprise, social responsibility and corporate diplomacy into the discussion.

Standards, guidance and expected outputs

What the work involves

  • Translate an opportunity into a clear concept or white-paper agenda for expert review.
  • Compare proposed methods with relevant practices, past lessons and reusable assets.
  • Set expectations for documentation, quality, validation and performance assessment.
  • Clarify governance and methodology decisions, and seek specialist input where needed.

Expected outputs

Concept papers, documented standards, review criteria, governance guidance and reusable methods or templates.

How it connects

Its role is to guide and govern the approach. The source framework assigns execution capability to the Venture Laboratory and project teams.

03 / CAPABILITY

Venture Laboratory

Turn a proposition into an executable plan.

The Venture Laboratory focuses on what a venture needs to become viable and capable of delivery. The source material emphasises purpose, stakeholder participation, leadership and the ability to grow across appropriate geographies and timeframes.

Feasibility, capability and expected outputs

What the work involves

  • Define the venture’s purpose, customer need and the contribution expected from stakeholders.
  • Assess available resources against the project’s requirements and intended territory.
  • Examine the business model, feasibility, budget, milestones and delivery risks.
  • Plan team capabilities, learning needs and measures for monitoring progress.

Expected outputs

A viability framework, a resource and capability plan, proposed budgets, measurable milestones and an execution roadmap.

How it connects

It draws on Data Centre evidence and Centre of Excellence guidance, then returns delivery findings and changed assumptions for further review.

WORKING TOGETHER

Research informs the approach. The approach guides execution.

For an illustrative traceability project, the Data Centres would investigate what records are available and where information is missing. The Centre of Excellence would define the proposed standards, governance and review criteria. The Venture Laboratory would assess a pilot’s feasibility, resources and milestones. Pilot findings would then return to the research and review process.

This example explains the intended relationship between the institutions; it does not claim that a pilot has been implemented. The descriptions above adapt Amnaya’s historical institutional presentations. Current staffing, systems and operational status require project-specific confirmation.
